With a low unemployment rate of 3.6%, there are still twice as many available jobs than job seekers in the U.S. today, making retention of top talent a continued focus for many companies across all sectors. In fact, according to a Gartner study in April 2022, it is predicted that the annual voluntary turnover rate for U.S. employees will jump nearly 20% this year as compared to pre-pandemic levels, with an estimated 37.4 million U.S. employees voluntarily quitting their jobs in 2022.
