We get you started! We will add the “about us” section of your website to your Schaumburg Business Association profile upon becoming a member. This is just to get your visibility started. You should sign in and update and upgrade your information, pictures, staff info, etc.
We will also make sure to link any social media you have to your profile as well. However, you may want to add our logo to your website to promote your membership!

Connect with your Ambassador
Your Ambassador will be reaching out to you in the first few weeks of membership, they are a great resource for you during your first year of membership.
If you are attending an event, always feel free to reach out to any of the Ambassadors as they can be identified with the purple ribbon on their name badge.

Start attending events and visit New Member Orientation
Events are a productive way to start making connections. There are over 100+ networking opportunities a year within the Schaumburg Business Association.
While at New Member Orientation, you can meet your fellow new members. They too are just starting out and are a place to start your Schaumburg Busines Association relationships.

Evaluate if a networking group is right for you

Decide if you have the time, resources and connections to benefit from a Networking or Alliance Group. Netwroking and Alliance Groups are great for building more in depth and stronger business relationships.

Licenses

The Village Code requires individuals and companies to display a valid license for a variety of activities.

Permits

Before you begin any construction project in your business, call the Village of Schaumburg’s Community Development Department at 847-923-4420 to determine if you need a permit.

TRAVEL FOR BUSINESS?

Schaumburg is home to the Schaumburg Regional Airport. For general inquiries contact Erik Trydal, the Airport Manager, at (847) 923-3778. For information related to fuel services, car rental, and short-term aircraft parking, contact Revv Aviation at (847) 986-5190.
Schaumburg Regional Airport is owned by the Village of Schaumburg and is a public use general aviation airport encompassing 117 acres in both Cook County and DuPage County. Located at 905 W. Irving Park Road, it is easily accessible from I-290 via the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway. The airport is home to approximately 90 aircraft and handles about 35,000 operations per year.
