Charitable Foundation 501c3, 2020 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION
The Schaumburg Business Association (SBA) awards scholarships of $2,500 to high school students graduating in 2020 with goals to pursue a business related degree in college, and to adults looking to further their careers through further education in advanced manufacturing related fields. Awards are based on several considerations that include academic achievement, community involvement, and need. Scholarships will be awarded in a one time payment by check, within 30 days of announcement.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
•Applicant must plan to attend a technical or trade school, business college, or a two- or four-year college or university in the state of Illinois.
•Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
•The application packet must be fully completed and received by the Schaumburg Business Association by April 30, 2020. Applications may be mailed, faxed, or dropped off in person. The staff and Board of Directors for the SBA will not speak to or communicate with any applicant, or their proxies, regarding their submissions during the application process.
•Applicant finalist must come in for an in person interview with the scholarship Committee.
•Scholarship recipients must be available to attend the Toast of Schaumburg gala, the evening of October 23, 2020.
