The holiday season is officially upon us — and with it comes the opportunity to spread some much-needed joy.

Motif Events has proudly supported a number of charities throughout Chicagoland, but one partnership has always held a special place for us: the annual Lincoln Elementary Letters to Santa in Maywood, IL.

Our relationship with Lincoln Elementary began nearly 20 years ago through my sister, Allison, who many of you knew and loved. This year, however, we learned that many of the school’s regular sponsors have stepped back – leaving over 400 children without sponsors.

We’re determined not to let that happen. Each child writes a letter to Santa with simple wishes: toys, books, crayons, clothes, or winter boots. On average, fulfilling a child’s list costs around $30–$40.

We’re reaching out to our friends, family, and business partners to ask for help – whether by sponsoring a child directly or contributing to the donation fund. Motif will handle everything: pairing sponsors with letters, collecting donations, wrapping gifts, and delivering them to the school. Prefer to donate funds instead? We’ll happily take care of the shopping on your behalf.

Your generosity can make a real difference for a child this Christmas. Thank you for considering, and for helping us continue the tradition Allie started: bringing holiday cheer to every student at Lincoln Elementary!
