FamilyForward is looking for volunteer mentors for Schaumburg families in our program.
Are you looking for a local volunteer opportunity to get involved with a neighbor in need?
FamilyForward provides rent assistance and mentoring to employed, low-income families who want to achieve financial stability. Working in pairs, volunteer mentors assist their family in making and following a realistic budget and developing reachable goals. Most of all, mentors form a relationship with their family over 2 years and provide support and guidance as they get back on their feet. Time commitment is 4 hours per month, and training is provided.
