The Schaumburg Business Association has taken steps to monitor this rapidly evolving public health emergency with unprecedented economic impact. We encourage our members and the business community to use guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Chicago Department of Public Health, and resources from the US. Chamber of Commerce to develop any necessary policies for your company. 

We have compiled a listing of resources many have asked us for.  This page will continually be updated as more information becomes available.


State Resources:

State Loans and Grants:

  • Illinois State Treasurer's Small Business COVID-19 Relief Program (For financial instituations.  Businesses, reach out to your financial institutions to see if they are an approved institution and if you're eligible to apply through them)
  • Emergency Small Business Grants and Loans Assistance (March 25, 2020)
    Under the leadership of Governor JB Pritzker, DCEO is working with partners to launch emergency assistance programs for Illinois small businesses.  These initiatives include:
         - Hospitality Emergency Grant Program (application deadline is April 1)
         -Illinois Small Business Emergency Loan Fund
         -Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program
  • Illinois’ COVID-19 Response Fund (ICRF)  To support non profits serving those who have been upended by COVID-19. Currently accepting donations, if an organization wants to apply there is currently not an open application process. Please provide your information in the linked Google Form and their team will provide updates as they become available. The Fund’s Steering Committee will be working to identify organizations for its first round of funding soon.
